Design Your Own Product 2 Sell on eBay
OK first up is this custom made lamp that I made which actually sold on Amazon for $60.00
Nothing crazy. It cost me about $18.oo to make (die cast model, shade, lamp parts and a log that I got for free from my property in upstate NY)
People create all kinds of automobile related items to sell on eBay. Check out these car die cast key chains offered from one seller. Here is another interesting idea that I love.
Custom made party invitations. Sports, Movies, Music etc.
It was hard for me to post the Yankees as an example because I'm a Mets Fan, but the Yankees are a more popular team worldwide and they sell better. You can create invitations for the hot trend at the time. I would say Justin Bieber is popular with the little ones now.
Door Wreaths:
Silk Floral Wreaths are excellent sellers on eBay consistently selling for $75.00 and up
They are not that hard to make if you have a good eye. A grapevine wreath some silk flowers and a decoration for the center. All sold at Michael's. I would recommend creating a few wreaths first, it might take a little while to build up a following, but once you do you might have a successful wreath design business.
Good Luck

Thrift Store Find of the Month Jan 2010 (Part 3)
No, you did not read wrong, I did not add an extra 3 onto the price. $338.00 for a pair of jeans purchased for $4.00 at the Salvation Army.
Vintage Levis Big E Jeans were manufactured prior to 1971 and are highly collectible even in bad condition. If you have not figured it out by now the easiest way to identify a pair is to look on the red tab on the back pocket of a pair of Levis. If the E is capitalized on the red tag, chances are you hit the jackpot as long as they are not fake. Run a search for Levis Big E in the reviews and guides section of eBay to learn more about these jeans.
Before you check every pair of Levis at your thrift store (there will be many) you might want to ask around if you know someone age 60 or older to see if they still have any vintage clothing they held on to.
Good Luck,
John Paul

Thrift Store Find of the Month Jan. 2010 (Part 2)
Vintage Pendleton items are on my top 10 list of Thrift Store items to look for. Pendleton has been selling wool products for over 100 years. The better selling Pendleton items are Western Indian Blanket Jackets & Men's Plaid Shirts
Pendleton items are also great items to find on eBay and resell on eBay for a profit. The thing is many people misspell Pendleton by mixing up the e and the l and spelling it Pendelton. After you finish reading this post and subscribing to my e-mail list go ahead and run an ebay search with the world Pendleton, you will be amazed with the amount of misspelled items. I just found a great deal on some Pendleton shirts that were misspelled and I will keep you updated on the results.
Come back Thursday as I reveal the my #1 Thrift Store Find for Jan. 2010. It will blow your mind and you probably owned a pair at one point and may still have them around.
Good Luck

Thrift Store Find of the Month for Jan. 2010 (Part 1)
Vintage Sand Knit Jerseys are good sellers on eBay. This is just another example of the variety of items that you can make money on. If you know what to look for and have a little patience you will succeed at reselling thrift store items on eBay.
I love the half price days at the Salvation Army. It is always funny to see people waiting for them to bring out the racks of new clothes and then they all rush over pretty much pushing each other out of the way hoping to find a pair of True Religion Jeans or some other really high end designer item. As they are there stressing out I'm casually going through the racks finding items like Sand Knit Jerseys that I can resell for 10 times what I originally paid.
Here is another one of my recent Sand Knit finds:
Good Luck
